So , everytime i checked the server , no one was in it . Last year , there were like 5-10 players all the time . What happend ?

Well, There are many reasons the player count is declining, A lot of our players just started school again and some of them even made claims that they get bored in the server just because no players are on, So the main reason is everyone is in school or maybe even at work if they actually have a job.

When we're lucky we get a good amount of players depending on what day of the week it is.

the reason the player count is low is tons of reasons i could go on forever but id rather not, one problem is that people like randomflipper are still here, just get rid of all the trolls and you'll end up having legit players.
people like him are poisoning communities.

This is a dormant time for ECNR. All the focus has been going into FGRPG. FGRPG will re-ignite the spark that EGC is known for. Once FGRPG has been released, it will be a game changer. Then the all powerful 1.7 will get it's required attention.

A little late on the discussion here, but if we are talking about alternative games to script ECNR to then why not Just Cause 2 : MP. Its pretty much San Andreas with like 8 times the area. Its even optimised to run on most low/medium end PCs.
