Right, so for like the last two weeks, me GTA hasn't been workin'. I tried to install this mod that apparantly came with its own installer, and when I tried to run GTA Single Player, it failed after loading the save game. I was like, "fuck". So I tried MP. Same thing, crashed after the loading bar filled. I removed the files, and now it won't even load menu, saying that something is corrupt, and the vorbis file is missing or something. Either way, I tried to reinstall and it's not working still. Any tips/tricks?

try download vorbisfile.dll and put it on your gta sa folder

Step 1. Fresh Install GTASA.
Step 2. Have fun.

hum the mod has most likely substitued the original files, try to figure em out, depending on what mod it is, then see if the installer of the mod backuped em or if u need to get em again, then replace the mod files to the original files, or just remove it n install a new one(unlees u have lots of mods)

Now it's telling me each individual DLL that's bad that I guess I have to manually reinstall. Ah well.

I tried reinstalling but it still gives me warnings and crashes before the game even loads.

Usually what I do when my game kept crashing on startup was run my game as Administrator, And Had no problems after that. Idk if that will work for you but you might as well try if you haven't already

Hello there!

I Don't recommend you to run SA-MP as administrator, because that makes the GTA San Andreas to open the single player insted of SA-MP often. If you are missing DLLs, I Recommend you to make fresh un-install and then the clean installation as administrator again. Also, you could try the following tips below:

1. Remove GTA San Andreas user files from your documents folder.
2. Try to run GTA San Andreas in compatibility mode (try couple methods from the properties).
3. Make sure mods doesn't make your game to crash.

I Have fixed several GTA San Andreas problems. If you need something, hit me with provate message (PM) on IRC.

Best regards,
CrossUSAAF.
