Sorry to bump this post/if i'm even allowed to post here but..
Is this still in the works? It sounded as if it neared completion when Sylar was talking to me.. but with Sylar out of the equation now has it been forgotten?
I think something like this would be perfect for the current situation where due to the time differences of admins theres a void from Early morning -> Midday where hackers literally take over the server terrorising everyone.

I uh bought a 4 pack of this shit but only used 2.
Leaving 2 copies untouched, so it's free for anybody who wants it.
Orion: Dino Horde reviews

" I enjoyed it very very much "
With reviews like that and a metascore of 36 this is a killer game.
It's got pretty shit requirements aswell, so for those of you on cardboard PC's you should probably be able to play it.

It's just bloody hard to decipher ! I think the "Sassenach" tag is going to stick with me for a while aswell..
Maybe you could adapt this for a more .. Productive purpose? For example use by admins to decode/speak to the spaniards that flock in!

I got these babies for the ghastly price of ?10!!
They are too narrow for my feet but they are bouncy and relatively comfortable. Would recommend.

Having quickly read through 1 problem I can instantly see is the hosting.
Afaik the server was downgraded to a less powerful system, and the old server struggled to host minecraft as it was. You're talking about either loading 4 seperate worlds or having a huge map with 4 different huge areas which is going to be EXTREMELY memory/cpu intensive.
Also you're talking about making these mini games with minimal plugin input, if you're going to host a server like this it's going to rely heavily on plugins, imo you should develop the map with a huge input from plugins as otherwise it's going to be abused and not function correctly at all.
These problems aren't the end of the world, how about a rotation of the maps? that would be considerably easier on the server, with everyone being focused in the same area. And i'd get to grips with popular plugins such as world guard etc and get to grips with the permissions plugins as you'll soon find that what you're proposing is extremely in depth server side. With the prisoner mode requiring a plugin to be written if there isn't already one.
Either way, it sounds good but maybe take one step at a time. We struggled to get a solid 3 player count before so what makes you think we can fill 4 worlds and use them to there potential? If they sit unused it will just eat up server resources that could be used elsewhere.

I say downgrade. I love the new aiming as it finally feels like the mod is going somewhere, with massive flaws finally being patched, but i'm not sure lagfree aiming outweighs playercount.
The last few days have been horrible with us barely hitting 5 players, whereas the weeks before 0.3z we were casually rolling around in 15+ players!
