New Leader Takes Reins of Black Hand Terrorist Organization
After a daring escape from federal authorities while being transferred from Green Haven County Jail, members of the Black Hand which were incarcerated after a shootout at the KACC Military Fuels complex in North Las Venturas last month, Bone County deputy sheriffs engaged in a shootout with the escapees, confirming a kill on the enigmatic leader named Chito. Unfortunately BCSD road deputies were forced to fall back when RPGs and automatic weapons were used against them by Black Hand reinforcements. They have been reported to have fled into the desert region before SWAT could respond.
Now a statement was found taped to an inert pipebomb left in front of the SAN News building in Las Venturas. A flash drive containing a video of a masked individual that named himself as "Varun". Varun identifies himself as the new leader of the Black Hand and also re-introduced Hiredgun, the gaunt faced bearded underboss that led the attack on KACC Fuels and then a previously unknown man known only as "The Saint". The three pledged to unleash a new wave of terror within the area, specifically against the Bone County Sheriff's Department for their efforts.
Sheriff Wagner held a press conference shortly afterwards, looking not at all intimidated wearing his khaki uniform, hands clenched around the two Colt 1911A1s on his belt. "Those that swear out blood against the law can gladly return to face us, with the expectation of a closed casket funeral." he said simply.
