My favorite football player, as I believe he is the best football payer in the world at the moment and I'd even push to say of all time is Lionel Messi.
There are so many reasons for this...including his footwork,goal scoring, teamwork, determination and love for the game.
When he is fouled he doesn't complain he just gets up and gets on with the game, as all football players should. When he is brushed off he doesn't dive, which proves (as he is not a very strong or tall many in the slightest) that players don't need to dive to the ground.
