Some intel I want to put aside of this attack while browsring netowrks forums about IRC and DDOS attacks:

'The most common attack delivered due to IRC anger is the DDOS attack. The majority of the time, (unless the person truly has no clue what they are doing), these attacks come from groups of zombie-computers, named botnets. What the attacker does, is customizes a trojan which when ran causes a computer to connect to a specified IRC server and channel, where the attacker sits and waits. Upon gathering enough bots, he/she will use text commands to send packets to a specific host (the person(s) the malicious user is hoping to harm). As we all know, when an excessive amount of data is sent to a host, the server begins to choke up and eventually may crash. This is exactly what the attacker wants to do. Basically, there is no purpose other than to cause downtime. These attacks rarely involve the stealing of passwords or data, and typically cause no harm other then some time offline."

The scary facts strikes again:

"many many reasons, including nick gaining, disrupting the irc network, removing channel ops, stealing users by making network instable, threats.
The problem is its so easy to do and hard to defend against."

And another fact that most of us need to know:
"One kid can set up a botnet and get about 3-7k bots in two weeks. "

Timestamp he uses = Hour | Minute
It is not hard at the beginning of the Minute to type all that...
In my case it is not hard in the Last 10-5Seconds to type all that :D

If it was in the same second I would say Hacks :D :L
