Tackling
« on: March 09, 2015, 12:30:22 pm »
I have absolutely no idea how this one slipped through, it was the initial reason for adding tackling.

Here's a twist on the current cops gameplay.

Before placing handcuffs on a suspect, the suspect must be tackled to the ground or tazed. (Tazer has been nerfed)

This has a few notable side effects:
?It will only be possible for 1 cop to place 1 suspect in handcuffs every 10 seconds
?/cuff failing has been removed (Tackling can be dodged)
?Overall, killing should become more common
?After being tackled, the suspect will not be able to move for between 4 and 6 seconds.

Full list of changes: http://ecnr.enigmaticgc.com/forum/index.php?topic=2665.0

It'll be interesting to see how this impacts the gameplay. This is definitely a slight handicap on the cops, however concerns had been raised regarding the cops being overpowered, so this could be a good thing!

Using /cuff didn't have the risk of throwing you off the side of a bridge for example lol

Let me know your thoughts, try it out. If you love it great, if you don't, we can always change it later!

Just press C (Or your crouch key) while you're sprinting towards a player who has a wanted level of at least 4 (orange).

/cuff can be used as normal afterwards.
