But seriously, this community has been a very, very positive part of my life since 2009. Each and every one of you are the reason why I continue to happily come in, play the game, administrate BCSD and the server. One like me does not need gifts when they are surrounded by people. People like:
Byrner/Enigma - You old warhorse, I saw you as God Himself when I was a pup back on CRRPG. Then I went to player to co-worker/subordinate. We've had many fun days on Skype, we've had our arguments but in the end you know fully well that no matter what, I am loyal to YOU and everything you stand for, you magnificent bastard.
Ewan Raven: Seriously, between you and Crow, you have to fight to the death to claim who is my penultimate best friend from here. Together, we took Task Force and watched it grow, then rebuilt it into the BCSD. Then we brought the BCoFD into the fold. Your ideas, your counsel and many fun times gaming and bullshitting around have kept me sane and laughing.
Crow: So what if he's black? XD This motherfucker is there to listen to me and I listen to him. Yeah, I had to take out a college education in ebonics but it was well worth it. Together we did a lot of good work, even managed to save a life or too. We ride together, we die together in our unit. And one of these days, we're going to finish our novels, goddamn it.
Aaron_Ewing: Lovable, friendly fat fuck. A reliable cop since CRRPG, a great admin and a great friend. Your mastery of voices, your jokes and optimistic attitude are tops.
Saw: My young apprentice, my Padawan. Much to learn, much to do. Sure, you've messed up. Hell I've had my share of fuckups too. But that's just a part of maturing and living life. Lots of dedication, lots of ideas to keep the BCES moving forward. One day you're going to have Captain's bars. Guaran-fucking-tee it.
Chito: Makes great tacos, but also in all seriousness, Chito is a legend. We used to be on different sides of the fence. He, like Joker and Deimos gave me a good reason to hate (in a friendly way) the Black Hand, to push the envelope and to get the Task Force/BCSD into shape to equalize. Now he works alongside me day to day. Full of great ideas, full of humor and very friendly. Now make me an enchilada. <3
WatakiWatako: Very smart, very relentless in game. Always willing to play a game or two of Red Alert. Inquisitive, philosophical even. When are you ever gonna give me driving and bagpipe lessons, fucker?
I may be 24 today but it's just another day. Another day in IRC, people to bust. A community to foster and to make successful. And I hope this community's here with me, well into my thirties. Maybe even past that. EGC is one of the best things to happen to me. This isn't just my birthday guys, it's the community's too.
