BCoFD Application Process
« on: December 07, 2013, 05:08:04 pm »
Congratulations! You've decided after looking over the organizations that we offer here at ECNR to apply to join the Bone County Fire Department. We are the newest organization in ECNR with roots stemming from an earlier iteration of the BCoFD and the old Fire-Rescue organization from Byrner's CRRPG. Our role is to provide the following services:

1. Fire Protection and Control: Fighting fires that erupt throughout Bone County and its contract cities
2. Emergency Medical Services: Responding to calls for emergent medical help and also hospital-to-hospital transfers.
3. Search & Rescue: Assisting stranded or trapped citizens.

We hold ourselves to a higher standard not only in the way that we serve our county but also in IRC and on the forums. By applying and being accepted, you agree that you are bound by the following:

1.The ECNR SA-MP server rules, the EGC/ECNR forum and IRC rules.
    2. The ECNR SA-MP server fire rules
    3. The Bone County Fire Department Rules & Regulations

Structure & Ranks
There are several distinct roles in the Bone County Fire Department:
County Emergency Services Manager: The leader of the entire Bone County Emergency Services organization.
Fire Chief: The Bone County Fire Department sub-organization leader
Firefighters: All members with the exception of the Fire Chief are considered firefighters. Those assigned to a section can range in rank between the basic rank of Firefighter (Fire & Rescue) or Firefighter/EMT Basic (EMS) to Captain (Fire & Rescue)/EMS Supervisor (EMS) at maximum
Command Staff: Command Staff are Firefighters between the ranks of Battalion Chief to Assistant Chief that assist in day to day operations or lead a division.
Section Captains: Section Captains are firefighters ranked at Captain that are picked by their Battalion Chief as their assistant.

Ranks are outlined as follows from top to bottom:
Emergency Services Manager: Fire Chief reports to Bone County Emergency Services Manager
Fire Chief: Organization Leader
Assistant Chief: Direct assistant to Fire Chief, acts in their absence
Battalion Chief: Two battalion chiefs lead each section (Fire & Rescue and EMS)
Captain & EMS Supervisor: Assistant to a battalion chief, also highest rank a non Command firefighter can gain.
Lieutenant & EMS Lieutenant
Senior Engineer & Firefighter/EMT Paramedic
Engineer & Firefighter/EMT Intermediate
Firefighter & Firefighter/EMT Basic: Starting rank for passed applicants
Fire Cadet & Firefighter/EMT Cadet: Applicant Rank

Rules & Regulations
1: All members of the Bone County Fire Department as mentioned are expected to follow these Rules & Regulations, ECNR in-game rules, fire rules, ECNR/EGC forum and IRC rules. Minor violations will be handled on a case to case basis. However more major violations will be faced with actions like reduction in rank, removal from roles and possibly termination.
2: All members are to be required to attend weekly meetings on IRC or an alternate medium. Attendance is mandatory but dates and times will be worked out on a case by case basis to adjust for member needs.
3: All members are to follow the chain of command while logged into active duty. If a higher ranked officer gives you an order, you are to follow it to the best of your ability unless it is an order that is illegal as per the ECNR server rules or these rules and regulations.
