SA-MP 0.3z RC4 Client/Server update

- Fixed problem where long distance shots might go missing
- Nametag LoS tests will also apply to server objects
- OnPlayerGiveDamage is now called for NPCs
- Added GetPlayerLastShotVectors for extended information on bullet shots
- Added legacy mode for shot firing (shotcompmode 2 server.cfg setting) which uses only the camera for aiming and allows joypad auto-aiming
- Fixed: players could not be shot while surfing a vehicle
- Added some extended player camera information like aspect ratio and zoom level (for sniper)
- Extended 'netstats' functions so the script can get lower level network information without having to parse the stats string

- Fixed: Joypad target switching still enabled autoaiming.
- Fixed: Sniper bullets were not working when vectored outside the SA land area.
- Extra server data for investigating any player shot data corruption.

I'll remove that anti-joypad code since it's no longer needed!

I've written a quick bit of code that'll warn people for using their joypad while they are on foot and firing a weapon. If they continue to do so after being warned, they will be kicked.

Ban all joypadders and add an exception for Curiosity because he's a cool guy.

I have no issues with people using joypads in general, to move around. Driving and flying can be very enjoyable in that respect!

Exactly. If we don't do something about it, everyone will have no choice but to use joypads. I for one think that would be extremely unfair on those who do not have a joypad! lmao

There is a serious problem with this update!

As you may be aware, setting your SA-MP controller configuration to "JOYPAD" allows a player to lock on to someone. You don't require a Joypad to test this for yourself. Even when using a mouse, facing the general direction of another player whilst right clicking will cause you to lock on. As of 0.3z, the joypad auto aim provides a near perfect aimbot!

This is obviously a severe advantage and I would imagine players who do not play in Joypad mode will be rather pissed off, to say the least! We will have an internal discussion regarding this. Your opinions are a very important deciding factor in how we will approach this, please reply with your views!

ECNR has been updated to SA-MP 0.3z RC2. This update has some very interesting features in terms of development but perhaps the most prominent: "Shots fired by players are now lag compensated, meaning you can aim at the skin instead of lead aiming."

You will have to install the SA-MP 0.3z RC2 client before joining the server.

We have successfully moved servers and the nameservers have been updated.

The IRC network now supports SSL (Secure connections) and if you wish to take advantage of this, you can connect using /server irc.enigmaticgc.com:+6697.

You will need to install OpenSSL in order to do this.

The BS Fantasy module is also working. So you can use commands like !topic and !sync on the IRC network.
