As you all Know my Uncle committed suicide last year due to depression. Today marks One year without him. This got me thinking about starting a charity because of this. This charity would be something like " Hope for David Hansen". All proceeds would go to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. I would raise money by marathons and stuff like that and donate it all. Im Hoping you guys would give me a more creative name, I fell like this is that the Lord has called me to do.
The Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) is the leader in education, training, and research for anxiety, depression, and related disorders.
ADAA leads the way, improving the lives of millions of children and adults:
Promotes professional and public awareness of anxiety, depression, and related disorders and their impact on people's lives.
Encourages the advancement of scientific knowledge about causes and treatment of anxiety, depression, and related disorders.
Links people who need treatment with the health care professionals who provide it.
Helps people find appropriate treatment and develop self-help skills.
Works to reduce the stigma surrounding anxiety, depression, and related disorders.

I'm afraid I haven't got any name suggestions, however if you get a fundraiser page up I'll send some $$ your way.

Extremely proud to hear you're thinking of doing this Littleman. I wish you the absolute best of luck with your en-devour.
As for ideas regarding a name for your charity, the only idea I have at the moment is:
'GOAL'
Get Off Anxiety League.
You could host fundraiser football or soccer games to help aid your cause.

Anti Depression and Anxiety League- ADAL
American Depression and Anxiety Prevention Assosiation- ADAPA (read as a whole word)
