ECNR Suggestions / Auto Language Detector
« on: September 09, 2012, 08:15:41 am »
This idea just came to me while having to google translate with someone who spoke Hungarian. I talked to him in his language using the translator from Google and it helped him, My idea which Sylar told me to suggest here is to have a script that Auto Detects another Language when it's not English.

Like if someone speaks a they're native language it will show it as English to the English speaking players.

I originally had an idea back then to have a script that does this for every language. Like I can speak english in the main chat talking to another player. and on his screen the text will be in his language that he can understand. (I hope you understand what I mean by this) if not take a look at this example

Using Jim and Vanilla as examples. Jim Speaks Spanish and Vanilla speaks English

On Jim's Screen he see's what he wrote in spanish and see's vanilla's response in spanish
Quote
Jim (1): Hola mi nombre es Jim, ?c?mo est?s?

Vanilla (0) Bien gracias

And on Vanilla's Screen, She see's what Jim said in English and writes back in English

Quote
Jim (1): Hello My name is Jim How are you?

Vanilla (0): Fine thank you

so hopefully you understand this suggestion, hopefully this can be made and can be useful

Note: Both Sylar and I had the same Idea while discussing this via IRC

Wrestling / WWE - Triple H cut his hair
« on: September 06, 2012, 03:54:31 pm »
As the subject of this post said, Triple H cut his hair. This is in fact true. TMZ obtained photos of a shorn Triple H posing for pics with fans outside Titan Tower in Connecticut.... barely recognizable without his signature mane. Triple H had rocked the long hair ever since he debuted in the WWE in 1995 ... it's unclear when he decided to chop it off.

But ... HHH has been contemplating hanging up his tights ever since he lost to Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam ... and now the new 'do could be a sign that he's decided to leave the ring for good and commit to his corporate job with the WWE.

ECNR Suggestions / Re: A Cop Bot
« on: September 04, 2012, 05:06:47 pm »
I like the idea, but with an off-duty time it would just sit in Aaron's position in front of the 24x7 on The Strip, and an On Duty alert. :)

Lol, if it sat in my position, I'd have to re-locate. or park next to him like other officer's do when I first started parking there, they'd park next to me and wait for a suspect to pass. But anyway. I do like the concept of the idea. It maybe possible, and I would at-lest like it try'd out and see where it goes and see how people like it. If people don't like it, then it can be taken out. But I wanna see this given a chance

Wrestling / Actor/Fan of the WWE - Michael Clarke Duncan dies at age 54
« on: September 04, 2012, 01:15:07 am »

Michael Clarke Duncan, A well known actor. Known for his Roles in Movies such as 1999's The Green Mile and 2002's The Scorpion King Starring the Rock, Has passed away early this morning. Full details in the quote, Sad he passed away, He was a huge fan of the WWE, He once passed up a dinner with The President Of The United States just to attend a WWE Event. He was such a peaceful and Gentle Giant.

Quote
LOS ANGELES (AP) ? Michael Clarke Duncan, the hulking, prolific character actor whose dozens of films included an Oscar-nominated performance as a death row inmate in "The Green Mile" and such other box office hits as "Armageddon," ''Planet of the Apes" and "Kung Fu Panda," is dead at age 54.
Duncan died Monday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was being treated for a heart attack, said his fianc?e, reality TV personality Rev. Omarosa Manigault, in a statement released by publicist Joy Fehily.
The muscular, 6-foot-4 (1.96 meter) Duncan, a former bodyguard who turned to acting in his 30s, "suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered," the statement said. "Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date."
In the spring of 2012, Duncan had appeared in a video for PETA, the animal rights organization, in which he spoke of how much better he felt since becoming a vegetarian three years earlier.
"I cleared out my refrigerator, about $5,000 worth of meat," he said. "I'm a lot healthier than I was when I was eating meat."
Duncan had a handful of minor roles before "The Green Mile" brought him an Academy Award nomination for best supporting actor. The 1999 film, based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, starred Tom Hanks as a corrections officer at a penitentiary in the 1930s. Duncan played John Coffey, a convicted murderer with a surprisingly gentle demeanor and extraordinary healing powers.
Duncan's performance caught on with critics and moviegoers and he quickly became a favorite in Hollywood, appearing in several films a year. He owed some of his good fortune to Bruce Willis, who recommended Duncan for "The Green Mile" after the two appeared together in "Armageddon." Duncan would work with Willis again in "Breakfast of Champions," ''The Whole Nine Yards" and "Sin City."
His industrial-sized build was suited for everything from superhero films ("Daredevil") to comedy ("Talledega Nights," ''School for Scoundrels"). His gravelly baritone alone was good enough for several animated movies, including, "Kung Fu Panda," ''Delgo" and "Brother Bear." Among Duncan's television credits: "The Apprentice," ''The Finder," ''Two and a Half Men" and "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody."
Born in Chicago in 1957, Duncan was raised by a single mother whose resistance to his playing football led to his deciding he wanted to become an actor. But when his mother became ill, he dropped out of college, Alcorn State University, and worked as a ditch digger and bouncer to support her. By his mid-20s, he was in Los Angeles, where he looked for acting parts and became a bodyguard for Will Smith, Jamie Foxx and other stars. The murder of rapper Notorious B.I.G., for whom Duncan had been hired to protect before switching assignments, led him to quit his job and pursue acting full-time.
Early film and television credits, when he was usually cast as a bodyguard or bouncer, included "Bulworth," ''A Night at the Roxbury" and "The Players Club."

General Server Discussion / Re: Community Experience
« on: September 03, 2012, 04:21:13 pm »
I agree, I seen much progression within this community.

Some players we had at our old community stuck with us coming here. I seen quite a few people show up after I did, Like ReCoN and just saw Glitcher in IRC lastnight.

Even saw Hiredgun join ingame and do what we all know him of doing. Kicking ass. I would love to see more of this everyday.

As well as the new players we get, we get more new players everyday, Some stay and some don't.

The Reality of our "Today's" Community is that we are all dedicated to what it has to offer.

As long as I been here "From this passed July" I haven't seen 1 outburst from anyone. No drama being caused by anyone.

I see a community of mature and well mannered players. Willing to help others who require it and interact with them just so the new players don't feel alone. I know I need to do this, I will indeed start interacting more and more with the new and current old players of this server.

I will become more active on the forums and ingame and have a fun time. which hopefully everyone else has that same intention as I do.

Some of us are kids but the reality of it all is your not gonna be a kid forever and there will be some point in your life to grow up and mature, and though I know we still have some kids/teens here. I see them now acting older than they are and in an appropriate way. I wanna say I am proud of the players who stuck with us through the mists of the passed altercations. We have grown and will continue to grow together and stronger than we have ever had, All we need is inspiration to grow.

So I urge you "the reader" to get inspired to assist on helping us grow.

- UK media reports that The Rock stopped a gang of would-be burglars on the set of Fast 6 from London. The group was reportedly trying to break into vans that contained expensive movie equipment when Rock, who was dressed as a FBI agent for the movie, caught them. Rock ended up chasing them away.

An eye-witness told The Sun:

"It was so funny. The Rock looked like an action hero because he had his flak jacket on and an FBI badge in his hand. All of a sudden there was loads of gunfire and this giant dressed as a copper (police officer) was about to mow them down. The lads jumped out of their skin and scarpered (ran off) down the canal path and left the crew in peace. Now the crew are joking that they should drop security and just have The Rock do it."
Quote

I find this article pretty cool, Some people snuck on set of On of The Rock's new movies and tried to steal some of the movie props only to be chased off the set by the Great one himself. They would have had to be scared shitless.

Wrestling / Re: WWE - Diva arrested for DUI
« on: August 30, 2012, 01:04:24 am »
She'll be replaced, my guess anyway.

Well there is an update on this, she apparently try'd bribing the police officer with offing him $100,000 to let her go because she would lose her job with the WWE.

A representative for WWE issued a statement saying:
Quote
"Ariane [Cameron] did not alert us to this matter, we are investigating and will take appropriate action."

So I wouldn't be surprised if she was punished by the WWE

So thats all the matches, that happened.

But All through out the night, there has been speculations surrounding the future of Triple H, Is it Game Over? There are some chants in the crowd and a few minutes before Triple H speaks. He says:
Quote
everyone wants to know if he's going to retire. The crowd chants no. Triple H says the one thing he has learned in WWE is to never say never. He says when he started his career he wanted to do two tings - do stuff people wouldn't forget and to retire before all of this before all of this retired him. He chokes up for a second and says everyone comes to a crossroad in their career. He says you ask yourself if it's time. He says he never wanted to be the guy who was just hanging out, the guy who hung on too long waiting for the nostalgia pop. He didn't want to be the guy who was too beat up or crippled inside to hold his own kids. He says Lesnar has made him ask the question, is he done? Triple H says the answer is he doesn't know. He's beat up and more tired than he's ever been. Triple H gets hype and says he wants to say that he's coming back to kick Brock Lesnar's ass because that's what he does. That's what he wants to do but he can't. He says the truth is he doesn't know if he can. Triple H wonders if he's answered his own question. The crowd chants "you can do it." Triple H says one thing he can do is thank the fans. Triple H talks about how all the Superstars are here working hard for our entertainment. Triple H goes on and says the fans have got him through everything. He thanks them from the bottom of his heart. Triple H tears up and thanks the fans for letting him play the game. Triple H says he will never forget any of us and gives thanks again before dropping the mic. The crowd stands and applauds him. There's a "Thank you Hunter" chant that breaks out. Triple H does one last pose, with one arm raised, before walking off. He stops at the top of the ramp and the crowd pops.

Another Segment that happened was when Daniel Bryan and Kane were in an Anger Management group session.

KANE was asked to talk about his child hood, And KANE Said:
Quote
Well, I grew up locked in a basement, suffering severe psychological and emotional scarring when my brother set my parents on fire. From there I shifted around among a series of mental institutions until I was grown, at which point I buried my brother alive ... twice. Since then, I've set a couple of people on fire, and abducted various co-workers. Oh, and I once electrocuted a man's testicles. Years ago, I had a girl friend named Katy But uh, Let's just say that didn't turn out so well... My Real fathers a guy named Paul Bearer who I recently trapped in a meat locker... I've been Married, divorced, broke up my ex-wife's wedding, and tombstoned a priest. And for reasons never quite explained, I have an unhealthy obsession with torturing Pete Rose.

ECNR Suggestions / Just a couple suggestions
« on: August 26, 2012, 12:14:44 pm »
My idea is to get someone to make a scipt that shows people's ingame Joined amount's. and how long the person has been ingame that very day.

So like for instance:

Quote
" Aaron_Ewing has Joined the Server 320 times since registering to the server.(Registered Date: 7/19/2012) " that will show someone that plays all the time (The Counter of Joining ingame will not restart)

and the amount of time played ingame (Not all together in total since registering to the server)
Quote
"Aaron_Ewing has spent 3 Hours, 14 minutes and 32 seconds ingame today"
then the next time I log in, the time count starts over.

Hopefully someone understands my idea. It will help prove how active you are without even having to guess. It will let you know for things like applying for something.

Now I don't know how to script for shit. But would like to find someone who can make a script that is capable of doing those 2 things. or even know if its Possible to make
