Cops don't have to /ar and I believe you get an extra point if you /detain and then drop the suspect off at the station. Removing /ar all together doesn't sound too great to me, but I'm liking the idea of being able to help your friend bust out of a cop car.

There's already a command to attempt to break out, /esc or /bc I can't remember.

I think you're on to something here, but you just need to develop it more to ensure it's fair for both parties.

Maybe, when a cop is driving to drop off a criminal, another criminal can pull up beside the cop car and type /rescue (id), the detained criminal will then have 3 seconds to type /escape, once he has done this he will appear on top of the police car, giving him the option to: jump on to the rescuers car and be driven to safety, or; jump off the police car and attempt to run away. Either that or he can simple be transferred to the rescuers car.
